We left Seattle at 3:30 and flew into LA. We had a 6 hour layover before we headed to Costa Rica. This was a work trip for Michael, but I got to go along. We didn't get to go to the beaches etc. but I can't complain I got to hang out at the hotel by the pool while Michael worked.

January 27, 2019 Sunday
We got to Costa Rica about 8am. The company car service picked us up and took us to the hotel. We ate breakfast then slept for about an hour we were so tired. We took a taxi from the hotel and went into San Jose. We walked around for awhile and saw the National Theater and the Cathedral. We walked down main street. The Theater and Cathedral were beautiful but the rest of the city is so poor it really does make you feel very humble and blessed to live in such a great country and to have the things we have. Since Michael is here for work we didn't get a car. We won't be visiting the beautiful beaches because they are about 2 hours or more away. I'm just happy to be here relaxing at the pool. On Thursday we will be going with Michael's work group to the Rain Forrest and a hike to a waterfall and gardens. We will also be going on a coffee and Cacao (Chocolate) factory tour. That will be fun.

January 28, 2019 Monday
We went to breakfast then walked over to the mall across the street. Michael has a conference call at noon, so I hit the pool for awhile. We went to dinner in the hotel and relaxed the rest of the evening.
January 29, 2019 Tuesday
Michael worked all day today, so I hung out at the pool and walked across the street to the mall. The weather is perfect here! Later in the evening I went with Michael and his group from work to dinner at what used to be an Old Monastery. It was way up on a hill overlooking San Jose. It was absolutely beautiful! The pictures probably would have been much better if it was during the day but it was more beautiful at night to actually see. It was so pretty, and the food was really good!
January 30, 2019 Wednesday
Michael worked all day again today. I went downstairs to the "Market place" in the hotel for breakfast then I went to the pool and took my book I bought at the mall yesterday. It was really relaxing. Later I walked back over to the mall and shopped and ate lunch. Michael got back about 5:00 and we went a bit later with his group to dinner at one of the hotel restaurants.
January 31, 2019 Thursday
We left the hotel with the Microsoft group for the Britt coffee tour and the waterfall and gardens. It was perfect weather and so beautiful. We went to dinner with Michael's group again after.

February 1, 2019 Friday
Michael's group all flew home today early. We relaxed at the pool most of the day. Beautiful weather! We leave tomorrow morning heading to LA then home to Seattle.This was a very relaxing fun trip with Michael, so enjoyable. We ate dinner at the hotel.
